Session Description: Medical Staff Professionals can be caught in the middle of strategic decisions and starting timelines for new providers; what do you do when every provider file feels "urgent"? Our MSP's worked with senior executives to create a steering committee to more effectively triage timelines for incoming providers and set realistic expectations for start dates, payer enrollment approvals, and more.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to define the benefits of a steering committee for provider allocation that includes all stakeholders.
Upon completion, participants will have resources to build their own framework for communicating key milestones of the credentialing/enrollment process to stakeholders.
Upon completion, participants will be able to identify and communicate to senior leaders the red flag areas that hinder timely and successful onboarding.
