Karen McColl, MD

I am the Chief Medical Officer at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia, GA. I am a board certified OB/GYN physician. My OB/GYN career began in my home state of Pennsylvania in 1990. In 2002 my husband was recruited to Meadows Hospital to open a general surgery practice and we relocated to Vidalia, GA. I was in clinical practice doing Gynecology at Meadows from 2007 until 2021. In May of 2021 Meadows Hospital joined Healthcare Corporation of America (HCA) and I became the full-time CMO. During my time in clinical practice I have been active in medical staff leadership positions ranging from Utilization Managment physician advisor, Peer Committee chair, Vice-Chair of Surgery department and hospital board member.
