Independent MSP Contractor
Hardenbergh, Idaho
Chris has been a Medical Services Professional for 24+ years. She began her MSP career working at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, ID. After retiring from St. Luke’s in 2017, she began a new career path as an Independent MSP where she has experienced working in a variety of hospitals and CVOs. She has been blessed to have worked throughout the US and been exposed to numerous new environments and processes which greatly added to her skill set. With every assignment, she was always warmly greeted by wonderful MSPs and made numerous lifelong friendships along the way.
Chris is a NAMSS Past President. Previously, she served as the NAMSS Education Chair and as a committee member on numerous other committees and task forces. She also served on her Idaho State Association Board for several years and continues to be involved with that organization.
Chris’ passion is mentoring and bringing those around her into a leadership role with their employment or volunteer involvement. It brings her great satisfaction to see those she has mentored move into roles of greater responsibility and to become involved in volunteering with their state association and/or NAMSS.
On a personal note, Chris enjoys time with her husband, adult daughter, five grandchildren and one great-grandson. She finds her travels to Maui as her time to relax and recoup. Camping, more accurately described as “Glamping”, is very enjoyable and she looks forward to the numerous trips she and her husband have planned for next year. In addition, she has a rescue poodle by the name of Tiny T that she adores and spoils beyond belief.
