Debbie Kesselring, CPCS, CPMSM - Director of Medical Staff Services at Southeast Alaska Health Consortium in Juneau, Alaska. Debbie has over 27 years’ experience in the healthcare field as it relates to credentialing, privileging, physician medical education, the self-governed Medical Staff as well as the executive associate to the Chief of Staff and Medical Staff Leadership. Debbie’s expertise is in project management, advising on delineation of privileges, bylaws, rules/regulations, policy and procedures, focus professional practice evaluation, the practical requirements of credentialing, and more.
Debbie has served in various leadership positions on the State and National level. She was a past secretary/treasurer of the Alaska Association of Medical Staff (AKAMSP) (January 2000 – December 2002, January 2006 – December 2009), president of the AKAMSP (March 2011 – December 2013 and July 2014 – June 2016), National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) Director at Large (DAL) (January 2017 – December 2019). She served as a member and Chair of the NAMSS Leadership Development Committee (March 2020 – December 2021) and currently serves as a member of the NAMSS Subject Matter Expert Committee. (January 2022 – present).
Debbie holds certification in Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) and Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
