Kay Brown is dually certified as a CPMSM and CPCS and is the Director of Medical Staff Services for Hartford HealthCare in Connecticut. Her experience in Medical Staff Services has encompassed a variety of healthcare entity facilities that include rural, frontier, urban, academic and system-based entities. In her current role she also serves as the data steward for the provider domain with her health system. Her passion is creating efficient workflows that reduce redundancy and waste in the credentialing and medical staff management. She enjoys the challenges of creating automated processes to allow staff to focus on the important tasks associated with their specific job roles.
