Susan DuBois, CPCS, CPMSM is an independent healthcare consultant with more than 30 years of experience in the areas of credentialing, privileging, medical staff management, physician relations, peer review, accreditation, compliance, physician contracting and physician compensation. Prior to becoming a full-time consultant, Ms. DuBois spent 33 years working for Intermountain Healthcare, an integrated healthcare system with 25 hospitals, a health plan, and a large employed medical group. At the time of her retirement, she was the Assistant Vice President of the Office of Physician and Advanced Practice Professional Affairs. In her role, Ms. DuBois provided leadership and strategic and operational direction for physician and APP affairs including credentialing, privileging, human resources, compensation and communication. She had system-wide responsibility for Intermountain’s Medical Staff Services program including the Centralized Credentials Verification Program.
Ms. DuBois is certified by and has held multiple leadership roles for the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) including serving on the Executive Committee of the Board from 2015 – 2018 and serving as the 2017 President.
