Session Description: Changes in the industry lead Medical Services Professionals (MSPs) moving from a traditional practice setting to a system wide setting. Today, credentialing is beyond privileging, beyond medical staff offices. MSPs deemed as subject matter expect in their organizations need to know differences in accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. NAMSS has put together a tool serve as one stop resources attempting to assist MSPs who struggle to understand which accreditation standards apply to which practice setting. This tool is a starting point for MSPs to gain knowledge needed in preparing themselves as tomorrow MSP.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participant will be able to describe the tool available to differentiate the requirements among regulatory agencies.
Upon completion, participant will be able to describe NAMSS Comparison Grid as a quick reference guide in performing daily duties within different practice settings.
Upon completion, participant will be able to demonstrate knowledge of accreditation standards versus best practices associated with preparation to the next level as MSPs.
